We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced, proactive, organised and passionate Quality systems professionals to coordinate and help manage KGF’s Quality Management System, to ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to KGF customers. Successful candidates will support the business in achieving its operational and strategic goals through monitoring effective QA practices identifying and providing corrective actions as required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and implement quality systems and take the lead on quality and food safety issues.
  • Coordinating with departments regarding quality and compliance matters.
  • Play a key role in audits of food safety and quality systems, including; Department of Agriculture, BRC and large-scale customers
  • Familiar with root cause analysis techniques and trend analysis
  • Managing customer and consumer complaints
  • Drive  and support continuous improvements in quality system activities to improve safety, quality, people and costs
  • Lead & coordinate Quality system management and document control


To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in quality, food science or similar.
  • Experience in a quality systems focused role, preferably within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of food laws and regulations including experience of HACCP and BRC or other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including intermediate Excel and Outlook
  • An ability to develop and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to communication with all stakeholders
