An opportunity exists for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team at Kilcoy Global Foods. This role is a full-time salaried position based on a Monday-Friday roster and is a great opportunity to work for a dynamic business in a Corporate Office located on the Sunshine Coast.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • End to end Accounts Receivable function
  • Follow up of overdue accounts
  • Account opening which includes but not limited to credit assessment and other checks
  • Reconciliation of accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted for
  • Perform bank reconciliations daily
  • Maintain debtors ledger
  • Preparation and distribution of Domestic customer invoices
  • Process invoices and receipts of staff sales
  • Process credit notes
  • Prepare and distribute debtors and credit limit reports
  • Support the Shared Services function as required, including accounts payable
  • Process weekly/monthly banking transactions
  • Liaise with internal departments regularly
  • Assisting with month and quarterly accounts preparation
  • General ad-hoc finance and administration tasks


To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring the following experience and skills:

  • Prior experience within Accounts receivable desirable
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar ERP system) advantageous
  • An excellent phone manner and a passion for customer service
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to successfully multi task under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A high level of computer literacy in MS Office programs
  • A commitment to continuous improvement individually and as a team
  • Solutions focused and ability to follow through.
  • A flexible, driven and motivated personality
