Kilcoy Pastoral Company Limited (KPC) is seeking an ICT Graduate, to join our motivated Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Department. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work within a global organisation and gain exposure to a broad range of tasks and develop a wide range of skills.

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment , working a lifestyle roster, on a block rotational 12 hour shift working 1 months days and 1 month nights.

Key Responsibilities

As an ICT Graduate, you will work closely with mentors within the ICT Department, who will coach and guide your career through the delegations of tasks and duties to become a Help Desk Officer Tier 2/3. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

  • ICT support to a variety of users/customers within the organisation,
  • Operating on platforms such as Windows Server 2008/2012, data capture systems, SQL, Virtualisation Infrastructure, and ERP,
  • Trouble-shooting issues within a timely manner so that downtime is minimised,
  • Reviewing current processes for purpose of continuous improvement,

The ideal candidate will bring;

  • Current Qualifications in ICT (or demonstration of working towards)
  • Sound communication skills both written and oral with good listening and comprehension.
  • The ability to explain complex issues simply to a mixed audience with varying levels of technical understanding of ICT systems.
  • Self-motivation and excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a high volume environment.
  • An ability to resolve issues in an efficient, effectively and timely manner, maintaining a customer service focus.
  • An ability to maintain reliable record keeping.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and to maintain confidentiality.

The successful ICT Graduate will have either recently completed or be working towards completing a Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or similar degree. Applicants studying part-time will also be considered and the start date for this role is negotiable.
