Value-Added Production Supervisor

With an increasing presence in the Value-Added sector we are seeking an experienced hands-on, innovative problem solver to supervise and plan our Value-Added (VA) Production. If you are someone who can think outside the box and apply logical and critical thinking to production processes, including the introduction of new product lines, then this may be your next opportunity.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years production supervisory experience, supported by previous hands-on floor level experience, preferably in smallgoods or meat processing
  • Production planning and scheduling skills that deliver to sales order requirements
  • A mechanical minded approach, developed from experience in VA related packaging and equipment operation, coordination and problem solving
  • People management, development and influence that will support a growing production team to deliver to expected outcomes within a changing environment
  • Administrative experience in developing processes, data capture and analysis, report writing, as well as, production costing and forecasting for new product lines
  • Project implementation experience delivering innovation and continual improvement outcomes for products, equipment and processes
  • Resource coordination that is flexible and efficient to deliver production requirements
  • An ability to develop and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to communication with all stakeholders
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through
