ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Plumber to join the Engineering team, located at our Kilcoy facility. We are a fast-paced, 24/7 beef production environment. Work environments will vary from agricultural, production, refrigeration, coal fired boiler and rendering.

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, with a strong focus on a preventative approach
  • Contribution of ideas and input to improved systems, procedures and maintenance
  • Engage with the production team to optimise the performance of all equipment on a daily basis
  • Assist in capital and continuous improvement projects as directed
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, health and environment
  • Understand the urgent nature of the business and manage competing priorities
  • Prioritise urgent repairs of equipment
  • Understand the importance of troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Coordinate and collaborate with contractors as well as other departments regarding reliable maintenance of the various sections of the plant

REMUNERATION

  • Day Shift | $45.64 per hour

ROSTER

  • Day Shift | 04:00 to 16:00
  • 4 days on, 5 days off, then 5 days on, 4 days off

ABOUT YOU

  • Plumbers Licence
  • Drainers Licence, Water Plumber (Gas) an advantage.
  • A high standard of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously being proactive and efficient
  • Promote and drive a positive customer service attitude
  • Have sound knowledge of OH&S regulations
  • High level fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce
  • Drivers licence and reliable vehicle, or
  • Reliable means of getting to work 
  • Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
