THE OPPORTUNITY

As HR Business Partner for our Kilcoy processing plant, you will partner with the Senior HR Business Partner to understand challenges and opportunities and to deliver solutions within a high-performance culture. This position directly supports the delivery of the KGF overall business and HR strategy by driving operational HR activities, change initiatives and employee engagement.

ABOUT YOU

YOUR RESPONSILBITIES

  • Support a culture of performance and accountability by partnering with managers and Dept Supervisors on performance and development of employees.
  • Provide support, guidance, and direction to employees seeking HR support and/or escalation as required.
  • Provide professional, timely and seamless front-line support for transactional HR Activities (absentee management, transfer requests, exit interviews, etc).
  • Provide timely accurate reporting to provide data insights to support operational decisions (Manning report, employee movements report, terminations report).
  • Provide coaching, guidance and HR insights to Managers and Supervisors, measuring the impact.
  • Coach Managers to deliver performance, and support performance management processes.
  • Drive a culture to support engagement initiatives and reduce turnover and absenteeism.
  • Review HR metrics with leaders/managers to identify risks and opportunities and create action plans to deliver improvements against metrics.
  • Work with managers to identify talent and assist in creating targeted development plans.
  • Partner with Managers on the planning, design, change management and implementation of policies, projects and programs, such as capability programs or restructuring activities.
  • Partner with managers on employee engagement initiatives and planning.
  • Provide a consistent approach to IR/ER Investigation & management of disciplinary outcomes across the business.
  • Advise Managers on internal queries regarding HR policies/practices/procedures/legislation.
  • Work collaboratively and partner with BP (and broader HR team) as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Support implementation of ad hoc HR projects.
  • Be visible in operations and be hands-on to support operations on a daily basis.

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You will bring with you:

  • 2+ years at HRBP or similar.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Track record in influencing and driving change.
  • Strong knowledge of IR legislation and experience in its application.
  • Able to display excellent judgement, drive, and initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Proven collaborative, customer focus that develops practical solutions.
  • Ability to display empathy, good conflict resolution.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
