THE OPPORTUNITY

Assist the maintenance team in delivery of engineering and related works including mechanical and electrical routine and breakdown maintenance tasks. Contribute to the efficient and effective continual improvements for the integration of mechanical and electrical programs within the business.

YOUR RESPONSILBITIES

  • Working with the maintenance manager, planner and others to deliver the continuous improvement of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems to deliver plant availability, reliability, capability, integration with IT assets and compliance in a structured approach.
  • Perform mechanical duties within range of competence.
  • Contribution of ideas and input to improved systems, procedures and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proactively identify and minimise WHS risks, reporting to your supervisor where necessary
  • Remain up to date with current and future industry/trade related knowledge, trends and skills
  • Proactively escalate potential opportunities and risks to the Maintenance Manager

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

 

You will bring with you:

  • 2 years experience in industry environment in T/A or other trades support role
  • Sound Problem solving, organisational and communication skills.
  • Able to function autonomously, proactive and ability to adapt to constantly changing business demands and react quickly and effectively.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management skills
