ABOUT THE ROLE

The Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance across QA and environmental aspects while supporting the Compliance Manager in strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting internal audits and assisting with external audit preparation.
• Ensuring corrective actions are tracked, completed, and verified.
• Reviewing and updating compliance documentation, including SOPs and policies.
• Monitoring production processes to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Supporting training initiatives related to compliance and QA procedures.
• Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems (EMS).
• Supporting waste management and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting environmental risk assessments and assisting in improvement projects.
• Help develop and maintain Environmental Management systems to comply with current and future legislative requirements.
• Monitor compliance to Environmental Management System requirements.
• Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You will bring with you:

• 3+ years Previous experience in environment management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Degree qualified in Environmental Management, or a related field would be advantageous
• Wastewater management experience
• Good understanding of environmental licenses and development authority conditions
• A working understanding of current environmental legislation
• Previous compliance auditing experience
