Your future in food starts here | Compliance Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance across QA and environmental aspects while supporting the Compliance Manager in strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting internal audits and assisting with external audit preparation.
Ensuring corrective actions are tracked, completed, and verified.
Reviewing and updating compliance documentation, including SOPs and policies.
Monitoring production processes to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Supporting training initiatives related to compliance and QA procedures.
Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems (EMS).
Supporting waste management and sustainability initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with environmental reporting and regulatory requirements.
Conducting environmental risk assessments and assisting in improvement projects.
Help develop and maintain Environmental Management systems to comply with current and future legislative requirements.
Monitor compliance to Environmental Management System requirements.
Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You will bring with you:

3+ years Previous experience in environment management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Degree qualified in Environmental Management, or a related field would be advantageous
Wastewater management experience
Good understanding of environmental licenses and development authority conditions
A working understanding of current environmental legislation
Previous compliance auditing experience
