ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Kilcoy

We are seeking a WHS Advisor to support the business with all matters of Workplace Health and Safety. This role will assist with WHS enquiries and research, as well as providing administrative assistance to the WHS department as required. 

  • Deliver various health and safety procedures and processes for our team members and the business, to support positive health and safety outcomes
  • Successfully support, engage, and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to achieve business health and safety deliverables.
  • Complete reports, forms and any other safety related paperwork as required
  • Support and engage with the workforce on matters of health and safety
  • Participate and assist in the WHS Event Analysis process and implement control measures
  • Work with supervisors to improve health and safety awareness of team members on their shift
  • Regular communication of safety compliance requirements to shift team members.
  • Consistently monitor and observe work practices to identify opportunities for safety improvement

 

ABOUT YOU

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role 
  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety 
  • Fulltime onsite position 
  • Unlimited working rights within Australia
  • Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication
  • Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
