ABOUT THE ROLE

Location - Coominya 

You will be responsible for the effective and timely cleaning of our meat processing facility and operational machinery. 

Casual hours of work for the night shift role are 10:00pm - 6.06am (5-6 days per week). Please only apply if these hours suit your lifestyle. Candidates will need a strong attention to detail. The Night Shift team are responsible for ensuring the hygienic cleanliness and quality of the factory, as well as performing quality checks on the machinery after the cleaning process. Above all, to be a successful member of the Night Shift team, you will need to be reliable for each rostered shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely use approved chemicals and hot water to clean equipment and work areas in accordance with safety procedures.
• Perform manual scrubbing and cleaning tasks while following workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Operate hoses and cleaning tools correctly and safely to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Safely assist with the assembly and disassembly of machinery as required, following lockout and safety procedures.
• Use ladders safely and in compliance with site safety requirements to access elevated areas.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of all rubbish from production areas after completion of production, ensuring a safe and hazard-free workplace.
