THE OPPORTUNITY

Location: Bells Creek | Sunshine Coast | Queensland

We are looking for a skilled Product Development Technologist to join our team at Kilcoy Cuisine Solution.  In this role, you will be a key support within the product development team, partnering with our customers as part of business development plans, market & consumer insights. You will also develop leading edge products which will win over our customers and consumers.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Manage in all tasks associated with new product development from concept to commercialisation.
  • Plan, manage and assist in factory trials involving new product, new equipment and new process.
  • Research, understand and sourcing of required ingredients.
  • Plan, formulate and conduct benchtop trials.
  • Design and conduct product evaluation and sensory analysis.
  • Support and contribute to upstream innovation pipeline. 

 

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will bring:

  • Demonstrated meat protein or functional ingredient experience.
  • Ability to display excellent judgement, drive, initiative, and sense of urgency - we have a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP,FSANZ, food safety principles, food technology principles.
  • Strong orgnaisational skills.
  • Demonstrated internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Commercial and technical awareness of ingredients, process, and customer requirements.

 Experience & Qualifications

  • Food Science or other applicable degree, nutrition.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of R&D experience within the food industry.
