ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Coominya

This pivotal position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy & clarity in operational yield profitability, to work with Supervisors, Quality Team members, CI and management on putting defined measures into practice to increase Yield through improved control measures, Better optimise the returns on production through maintaining Fat levels in finished product and Formulated Meat Cost. Work with Supply Chain to design the best plan for the following weeks production. Manage the Meat plan, ensuring that the correct Raw material is used as advised by Production manager.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role, you will bring the following experience.

• Working knowledge of Kilcoy Global Foods operations
• RCA training
• Beef SME
• Understanding of purchasing process
• Product specification Expert
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a high volume and complex environment
• Demonstrated experience analysing complex information to drive outcomes
• Proven ability in creating and maintaining cross-functional networks and engaging all stakeholders.
• Solutions focused and consistent ability to follow through
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation to continually learn and deliver outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver Yield and product related optimisation initiatives for our team members and the business.
• Successfully support, engage, and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to achieve Yield and product related optimisation.
• Support and engage with the workforce to improve yield
• Support and engage with the workforce to improve CL optimization.
• Support supervisors to achieve Daily throughput, Yield and CL targets
• Daily reporting on results vs targets.
• Consistently monitor and observe work practices to identify opportunities for improvement
• Understand and control FMC
• Liase with supply chain to ensure SKU’s are produced on days that provide best FMC
• Maintain Food safety and quality standards
• Reviewing and approving yield reports on a daily basis.
• Monitoring and reporting progress on a weekly and monthly basis 
• Support in new product/processing development, yield analysis, and costing
• Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve raised concern
