Planning and Operations Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated employee who is interested in a secondment in the Planning team. This role involves day to day production planning for our operations teams. As part of your responsibilities you will be looking after materials planning and ordering, analysing plan attainment and assisting the operations team to fulfil customer orders. This is a great opportunity for someone to expand their knowledge of the business from livestock to loadout gaining a holistic knowledge of our supply chain.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Analytical mindset
  • Determination to only seek and rely on facts and develop insights from these
  • Abattoir / boning room experience
  • Understanding of the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) program
  • Strong Computer skills in a variety of programs and applications
  • A background in warehousing or logistics or cold chain supply in a previous role is highly regarded
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across a range of mediums including radio, phone and email in a professional manner
