KGF has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager Night Shift

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a passionate Warehouse Manager to lead and develop best practice management of the Cold Chain, Load-Out and IBEX activities at Kilcoy Global Foods. Through effective management you will assist the team to meet organisational targets and ensure the successful transition of product from production to distribution, whilst at all times emphasising quality, workplace health and safety, food/hygiene safety, AQIS and other required legislative compliance. 

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity working Monday to Friday on a night shift roster an approximate start time of 3pm.
Please note due to the 7day a week, 24hour operation some weekend work maybe required on occasion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine and manage compliance breaches and identify when escalation or external notification process must be followed
  • Liaise with wider support functions to ensure compliance with legal requirements across all area's of control 
  • Oversee the minimisation of wastage i.e. re-packaging, overtime, labour costs, downsizing labour etc.
  • Contribute to setting and delivering on Cold Chain goals and objectives, including budget planning
  • Ensure the optimal coordination and allocation of resources to deliver Cold Chain requirements efficiently and effectively, within budget, including minimising utility and consumable usage
  • Coach and deliver customer service that exceeds both internal and external customer expectations
  • Provide leadership, coaching, professional development and guidance to Supervisors to effectively empower them to perform their roles autonomously
  • Coach and guide Supervisors to plan for and meet daily manning requirements, including responding to planned and unplanned absences for team, collaborating with HR for manning support
  • Proactively escalate issues of risk and opportunity to the Warehouse operations Manager
  • Develop, maintain and support Cold Chain production schedules, throughput and output
  • Demonstrated succession planning in place for critical roles

ABOUT YOU

  • Highly developed time management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • 5+ years experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar within a fast FMCG environment 
  • Current FL licence with high reach experience desirable 
  • Strong customer focused approach
