Production Planner

Kilcoy Pastoral Company Limited (KPC) are seeking Production Planners to facilitate the conversion of sales orders to production outputs through an integrated communication and workflow across the interdependent business functions, whilst achieving optimum efficiencies and utilisation of resources and functions.

Roster:

  • Will be based on a 28 day cycle lifestyle roster, which includes weekend work.
  • 2 weeks of 4 days on + 4 days off and 2 weeks of 3 days on 3 days off - (5am – 5pm)

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a key production or logistics role in a similar manufacturing environment (previous production planning experience would be advantageous, but not essential)
  • An ability to develop detailed knowledge of our production specifications, critical logistical factors and the sales process and apply it to daily decision making
  • Success in developing and influencing key internal stakeholders involved in the planning and delivery of production and logistical functions
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including WHS, HACCAP and QA
  • Proactive problem solving and solutions focus, supported by consistent follow through
  • Resource coordination that is flexible and efficient to deliver to production outputs
  • An ability to develop and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to communication with all stakeholders
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organization
  • High levels of motivation, resilience and enthusiasm
  • Attention to detail, initiative and time management skills
